Teisseire and Singontiko Secure Latest Bracelets at WSOP

The 2011 World Series of Poker continues at the Rio in Las Vegas and it was the turn of two lesser known players to make their names at the biggest poker event on the planet.Antonin Teisseire and David Singontiko won their respective events over the weekend and showed just why the WSOP is the most romantic poker tournament in the world.Neither man held any significant clout in the reputation stakes ahead of their events but now they are names that don the headlines of poker publications the world over. Antonin Teisseire won the $5,000 Triple Chance No Limit Hold’em event taking home a massive first place prize fund of $825,604 almost making the Frenchman an instant millionaire. He delivered a fourth French bracelet for this year’s tournament in what is proving to be a very successful World Series of Poker for the up and coming poker nation.It was then the turn of American David Singontiko to win the following event that was the $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better. Singontiko won a life changing $268,235 on his way to glory. Singontiko had to overcome a field that included poker legend Erik Seidel on his way to victory which sums up the gargantuan task he had to complete to win his fist WSOP bracelet.The respective wins of both individuals propels them into the WSOP record books and onto the world poker stage. Their wins were followed by victories Matt Matros in the $2,500 Mixed Hold’em (Limit/No Limit) event where he took the $303,501 first place prize and Marsha Wolak in the $1,000 Ladies No Limit Hold’em Championship where she won $192,344.The magic of the 2011 WSOP goes on and household names are being created every day.
