Online Sports Betting – #10 Arizona Tries To Stay Red-Hot Against USC
College basketball online sports bettors know that the Arizona Wildcats, who have elevated to the #10 spot in both major polls, are one of the hottest teams in the country, and they are looking to stay hot as they visit the Trojans of Southern Cal in a Pac-10 game that is set to begin at 10:30 PM ET at the Galen Center in Los Angeles. In the online sports betting odds on this game, USC is a 1.5-point favorite.

Arizona +1.5
Here are the trends that apply to online sports betting on this game:
· Arizona has won its last eight games SU · Arizona has played six of its last seven games OVER the total · Arizona is 5-1-1 ATS in its last seven games · Arizona has won six of its last eight road games SU · USC has played four of its last five games UNDER the total · USC has won nine of its last 12 home games SU
It would be wrong to refer to Arizona as a “struggling” team at any point this season. The Wildcats have not yet lost two games in row, and have suffered only four losses overall. But online sports bettors know that when it came to meeting up with the best opposition, this team had fallen short.
They were beaten by eight points against Kansas and 22 points by BYU, and lost early Pac-10 games against Oregon State and Washington (a game where they were run off the court in the second half by the Huskies).
Now they are on a run where they have won eight in a row, going 6-1-1 ATS in online sports betting over that period. And they beat USC when hosting them on January 29, covering the spread in the 82-73 victory.
These are the head-to-head trends that may impact online sports betting on this game:
· Arizona has covered four of the last five meetings · Arizona has won 16 of the last 24 meetings SU · Four of the last five meetings have gone OVER the total · Arizona is 6-3-1 ATS in the last ten meetings as the road team · USC has won four of the last five meetings SU as the home team · Arizona has had the shooting edge in four of the last five meetings · USC has had the rebounding edge in four of the last six meetings · Arizona has made more three-pointers in each of the last five meetings
Arizona’s performance, on the court and in online sports betting, has been no coincidence. The Wildcats have found other scorers that have been able to complement the brilliant Derrick Williams, a future NBA player who has certainly carried a lot of the load.
Williams averages just under 20 points and eight rebounds, and though he is the only guy with a double-digit average, he has gotten some help from Lamont Jones, who has averaged almost 14 points over his last nine games.
However, online sports bettors should note that Jones is just nine for 30 in his last three games, and USC’s Kevin O’Neill, who is pretty good at conjuring up defensive schemes, may just put Jones in a position where he has to perform or else.
Remember that with people like Nikola Vucevic (17.1 ppg, 10.2 rpg) and Alex Stephenson, USC can challenge Arizona in the front court, and after a very rough patch offensively, this team seems to have gotten some confidence back in that area with wins at Cal and Stanford (both covers in online sports betting), even though they still can’t hit free throws.
Remember, here’s a team with some significant notches in its belt (Texas, Tennessee, UCLA). It’s also our guess that Arizona won’t duplicate its 61% shooting effort from the last meeting. We’re okay with laying a point and a half in the online sports betting odds with a USC team that may have gotten some swagger back.
